A Music Video from the 1960s?? Watch Nancy Sinatra's Sugar Town, 1967

Frank Sinatra’s little girl Nancy had a #1 hit in 1965 with the song ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin’’. In 1966 she had another hit on the charts with ‘Sugar Town’ which peaked at #5. These chart successes made her a star in her own right and opened the door for many opportunities including the airing of her 1967 TV special Movin' with Nancy.

One of the highlights of this TV special was a “music video” for ‘Sugar Town’ that opens with Nancy descending in a hot air balloon onto an open plain. You can watch it here. You’ll notice that she’s still wearing her white go-go boots… although they aren’t doing much walkin’. Enjoy!
