Canada’s April Wine is a hard rock band with songs all over the airwaves in the late ‘70s into the 1980s. They are known for a combination of hard rock and blues rock stylings evident in many of their hit singles and album cuts.
In 1980 they released ‘I Like To Rock’ , their second single off their ninths studio album Harder…Faster. Here is the music video of that song, filmed inside a studio located somewhere in the wilderness. Notice the final guitar solo contains brief riffs from the Beatles ‘ Day Tripper’ and The Rolling Stones ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’. Enjoy!
You can listen to music from April Wine and other Canadian artists from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ’80s daily on Dusty Discs Radio.
