Blondie Live on The Midnight Special, 1980s

The Midnight Special ran on TV during the ‘70s and ‘80s. All of the biggest stars of those decades took to the late night airwaves and Blondie was no exception.

Here is the new wave band performing their #1 hit ‘Heart of Glass’ on that show - and the performance is live. Singer/songwriter Debbie Harry uses this platform to condemn nuclear power between verses of the song. And check out the ‘80s clothing. Enjoy!
