Rare Online Music Video: Cher and The Jackson 5 Perform on Cher’s TV Variety Show, 1976

Sonny and Cher Bono divorced in 1974 and with the end of the marriage came the end of their TV show The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. But in 1975 Cher returned to TV with her own variety show - Cher - that featured interviews, performances and comedic sketches.

In 1976 The Jackson 5 were Cher’s guests. In this clip from the show, the host and the five brothers perform a medley of Jackson 5 hits including “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There” and “Dancing Machine” among others. Naturally, Michael Jackson and Cher are the main singers.
