Dan Fogelberg: Live Performance of ‘Same Old Lang Syne’

In 1980 the late Dan Fogelberg released what has since become a holiday playlist staple. The song ‘Same Old Lang Syne’ is personal to Fogelberg and recounts a chance meeting between him and a former flame in a grocery store on Christmas Eve.

Here’s a performance of that iconic song, recorded live at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Missouri back in 1991 for the singer’s twelfth album. Grab a tissue, raise a glass - and enjoy!
