Mouth & MacNeal Lip-sync Their Way Through ‘How Do You Do’, 1972

In 1972 the Dutch duo of Willem Duyn (Big Mouth) and Sjoukje van’t Spijker (Maggie MacNeal) - known to us as Mouth & MacNeal - had a huge hit with the quirky ‘How Do You Do’. It was #1 in the Netherlands and a top 10 hit in the U.S.. The song's success garnered the duo appearances on some of Europes top TV shows including Switzerland’s Hits A GoGo.

Hits A GoGo was the Swiss version of Top of the Pops, Shindig! and similar shows that featured pop acts of the day performing their hits while teens danced to the beat. In this performance clip Mouth & MacNeal lip-sync and “goof” their way through this catchy tune. Cheesy to be sure but I dare you not to tap your toes. Enjoy!
