'New Year's Day', U2 Live, 1983

Although these days they reside in the Superstar Stratasphere, in the early 1980’s U2 was still on the cusp of break-out status. In 1983 they toured the U.S., performing songs off of their then new album War.

One of those songs was called ’New Year’s Day’, very fitting for the first of January. Here is a live performance of that song from Devore, California back in 1983. Enjoy and HAPPY NEW YEAR from all of us at Dusty Discs Radio!
