Peter Tork Of The Monkees Dies At Age 77
On February 21st, 2019 the world learned that Peter Took, The Monkees bassist and resident goofball, had died at the age of 77. Although not the lead singer of the fictitious TV band from the 1960s Peter did sing a few of the pre-fab four’s tunes.
In 1967 the album More of the Monkees was released and Peter sang one of the tracks, ‘Your Auntie Grizelda’. Among the many fan tributes that have appeared since the news of his passing is this video featuring a montage of pictures accompanied by that song. Enjoy!
