Rare: The Beach Boys (With Glen Campbell) in Montreal, 1960s

One frosty Canadian winter in the 1960s The Beach Boys were scheduled to play a show in Montreal as part of their Canadian tour. When Brian Wilson got sick the band brought along a relatively unknown singer-guitar player named Glen Campbell to fill in.

In this rare clip (from the collection of the late Richard Patterson) Jim McKenna, host of the Montreal TV show Like Young interviews the very cold band members just prior to them taking the stage. Enjoy!
