The Bobby Goldsboro Show, 1973

In the early 1970s Bobby Goldsboro joined the rank of musicians who had their own musical variety TV series. His show ran from 1973 through 1975 and was considered family friendly with light comedy. Naturally each week saw Bobby singing one of his trademark songs.

In 1969 Bobby released the song ‘I’m A Drifter’ of his album Honey. It was on Billboard Hot 100 chart for a total of 10 weeks, eventually peaking at #46. Here is Bobby performing that song live(?) on his TV show in 1973. Enjoy!

You can listen to music from Bobby Goldsboro and other artists from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ’80s daily on Dusty Discs Radio.
