The Stories With ’Brother Louie’ On The Midnight Special, 1973

Although originally recorded by the band Hot Chocolate in 1973, ‘Brother Louie’ was also recorded by the New York based band The Stories about six months later. Their version hit #1 on the Billboard Charts, sold over a million copies and earned the band a gold disk. In Canada the Stories version of ‘Brother Louie’ was dubbed into French and pulled from airplay after three weeks.
