Tracey Ullman Gets Help From Paul McCartney

In 1983 British comedian, actress and singer Tracey Ullman released a cover of Kristy MacColl’s 1978 song ‘They Don’t Know’. It featured backing vocals from MacColl and reached #2 on the U.K. charts. When it was released in the U.S., Ullman was almost a complete unknown in North America. However that soon changed when the song reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Naturally a video of ‘They Don’t Know’ was also released. Not only did it showcase Tracey Ullman’s singing and comedic talents, it featured cameo from one of the biggest superstars around - Paul McCartney. Here is that video. Enjoy!
